tired movement Support
We understand the frustrated feeling of not knowing where to turn to when advice on sensitive topics or situations is needed. That’s why TIRED offers a range of services to be there for everyone.
How tired can help
We firmly believe that everyone deserves the unwavering right to be included and represented across the creative industry. This, however, does not always happen.
Global Majority performers and educators have repeatedly reported that they have experienced racism at various points throughout their creative career. We are TIRED of this happening.
TIRED can provide expert guidance to assist you on your journey, from supporting Global Majority youth to becoming a more inclusive and diverse organisation. We can work closely with you to provide practical and realistic support, including but not limited to:
- CPD Training
- Workshops for Students and Teachers
- Creation of Resources
- Professional Consultancy
- 1-1 Mentoring
- Collaboration and Signposting
Please email stacey.green@tiredmovement.com with your query, and we can discuss the best way to provide TIRED support.
the impact of tired
Since 2020, TIRED has been a not-for-profit organisation addressing the need for:
- Increased racial representation across dance education at all levels
- Understanding cultural appropriation across dance styles
- Inclusivity in theatres
- Syllabus and curriculum reviews
- Mental health and wellbeing support for global majority dancers
- Inclusive uniform and dancewear
Please email stacey.green@tiredmovement.com if you’d like to find out more about TIRED assisting in the improvement of representation issues listed above.
We cannot drive these important changes that are needed without listening to your real-life experiences, and your courage to speak out. We need to work together as a collective to allow our voices to be heard by those who hold the power. Please support our movement and help drive the change.
